Fair isle patterns will be seen on the high street every winter. It is such a classic winter pattern that will always be stylish and relevant this time of year. But you can’t get more traditional than an authentic Norwegian cardigan!
Dale of Norway is a luxurious knitwear brand that has been producing since 1879. All of their knitwear is made with 100% wool, from eco-friendly sources, so it is both high quality and sustainable! Even their knitwear is produced using eco-friendly hydroelectric energy so you will be buying from a sustainable company. The Dale of Norway sells at quite a high price point, but if you decide to invest you’ll will be taking home a lifetime investment, in my opinion, that will create a really unique touch to you outfits!
The cardigan pictured is originally from Dale of Norway, but I snagged a lucky find and purchased this on Ebay, in near perfect condition at a lower price! As this style works well oversized, I got a slightly larger fit than I would normally go for, but I love the way this looks.
As the cardigan is 100% wool, it is of very high quality and most importantly it will keep you cosy warm during the winter months.
The cardigan is in a classic black and white colour, but what made me fall in love with it is the unexpected pop of bright colours running through the centre of the cardigan. This flash of colour makes the cardigan a really a unique piece.
The metal clasp fastenings are another quirky feature that makes the cardigan stand out and details the high level of craftsmanship that has gone into producing it.
Because the cardigan is quite a statement piece, it is easy to style with anything. I will wear this cardigan with everything from jeans, to skirts to dresses!
